The ROI calculator compounds a sample yearly rate over the period you choose. Its "cautious", "expected" and "strong" scenarios are simple illustrations, not predictions, and they ignore costs such as stamp duty, registration, brokerage, taxes, loan interest and maintenance.
Information may change
Infrastructure projects, government policies, guidance values, approvals and timelines change often. Metro lines, ring roads, airports and industrial corridors can be delayed, altered or cancelled. We update the website regularly, but information can be out of date or incomplete.
Do your own checks
Before paying any token advance or signing any agreement, verify independently:
- the title, khata and encumbrance certificate for the property
- RERA registration for projects that must be registered, on the official Karnataka RERA portal or the relevant state's portal
- land conversion orders, building plan approvals and any other permissions
- the identity and authority of the seller or developer
Take advice from a qualified property lawyer and, where relevant, a chartered accountant.
Buyers outside India
Rules for non-resident Indians (NRIs), persons of Indian origin and foreign nationals are set under the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) and Reserve Bank of India regulations. In general, NRIs may buy residential and commercial property but not agricultural land, farmhouses or plantation property. These rules change, so confirm the current position with a qualified professional before investing.
